Benefits

The 5 Mukhi Rudraksha Mala (8mm) aids in spiritual awakening and brings harmony between the body, mind, and soul. It is highly effective in enhancing memory power, intuition, and the ability to retain spiritual teachings. This mala strengthens the throat chakra (Vishuddha), promoting clear communication and truthful expression. It also detoxifies the energy system, cleansing negative thoughts and emotional disturbances. Ideal for daily chanting, it helps regulate the breathing pattern and supports pranayama practices. Over time, this sacred mala cultivates devotion, patience, and a steady spiritual rhythm in one's life.

Just keep it clean and maintain it with deference.

ॐ ह्रीं नम: (Aum Hreem namah) is the mantra for 5 mukhi Rudraksha. Do 108 japa of the mantra before wearing the mala.

How to Use the 5 Mukhi Rudraksha Japa Mala (8mm):

  1. Japa (Mantra Chanting Practice):

    • Ideal for chanting sacred mantras like “Om Namah Shivaya”, Gayatri Mantra, or Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.

    • Sit in a clean, quiet space—preferably during Brahma Muhurta (early morning), facing east or north.

    • Hold the mala in your right hand, resting it on your middle finger, and use your thumb to rotate each bead—never use the index finger.

    • Start from the bead next to the Guru (Meru) bead and chant one mantra per bead. Do not cross the Meru bead; turn the mala around to continue.

  2. Wearing Instructions (Optional):

    • If worn, it brings peace of mind, health benefits, and spiritual growth.

    • Before wearing, energize the mala by washing it with Ganga water or raw cow milk, then chanting “Om Hreem Namah” 108 times.

    • Avoid wearing it while sleeping, visiting impure places, during intimate acts, or while eating non-vegetarian food.

How to Clean and Maintain the 5 Mukhi Rudraksha Mala:

  1. Regular Physical Cleaning:

    • Once a month, soak the mala in lukewarm water for 5–10 minutes to remove dirt and sweat.

    • Gently clean each bead using a soft toothbrush or cloth.

    • Rinse with clean water and let it air dry in shade (do not dry in direct sunlight).

  2. Spiritual Cleansing and Oiling:

    • After drying, apply a thin coat of natural oil like sandalwood oil, mustard oil, or pure cow ghee. This keeps the beads nourished and prevents cracking.

    • Expose the mala briefly to the smoke of incense or dhoop while chanting “Om Namah Shivaya” or “Om Hreem Namah” at least 11 times.

  3. Storage Tips:

    • Keep the mala in a clean cotton or silk pouch.

    • Store it in your puja area or a sacred space when not in use. Avoid placing it directly on the floor or mixing with other jewelry or accessories.
