The White Small Cowrie is a sacred sea shell deeply linked with Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of wealth, prosperity, and fortune. According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Laxmi originated from the sea, making cowries a symbol of prosperity and abundance.

In ancient times, cowries were even used as currency, reflecting their importance and value. These White Small Cowries are considered highly auspicious and are traditionally used in Goddess Laxmi Puja to invoke her blessings of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune.

These shells are perfect for use in Puja rituals, as spiritual offerings, or as part of your home décor to enhance positive energy and bring divine blessings. With a size of approximately 17mm, they are ideal for any spiritual practice or gifting.

To cleanse a White Small Cowrie (Kawadi), gently rinse it with lukewarm water and a few drops of mild soap or rose water to remove dust and impurities. Use a soft cloth to clean and dry it thoroughly. For spiritual purification, place the cowrie on a clean cloth near a lit diya or incense. Sprinkle it with Ganga Jal or briefly dip it in cow’s milk. Chant “Om Mahalaxmyai Namah” or “Om Shreem Namah” 9 or 108 times to energize it with positive vibrations. Placing it under full moonlight overnight further enhances its spiritual and auspicious properties.
